The Villa's history
Villa Ormaneto was built as a hunting lodge during the first half of the 14th century. Once owned by the Scaligeri family, Cangrande della Scala, lord of Verona and famous leader of the Ghibelline faction, assigned it to his Hunting Prefect General, Zonta Ormaneto, after whom the Villa is named.
Completely immersed in the greenery of majestic centuries-old trees, Villa Ormaneto is a perfect example of a Villa Veneta that has been renovated without affecting its historical beauty, and enriched with touches of contemporary design.

The centuries-old park
Guests at Villa Ormaneto can enjoy the tranquillity and silence provided by nature, which is occasionally interrupted only by the chirping of birds. The green meadows, the majestic Caucasian walnut trees and the tree-lined avenue offer guests a sense of peace and harmony, far from the hustle and bustle of the city and the stress of everyday life.
St Michael the Archangel Church
Adjacent to the villa stands the Church of St Michael the Archangel, guardian of agriculture, law and order.
With its harmonious proportions, the 18th-century building still retains the architectural features typical of the Baroque age.
The swimming pool
Tranquillity, wellbeing and a touch of luxury: the new swimming pool at Villa Ormaneto provides an authentic wellness experience to those who spend their time in this green corner of paradise. The Villa's swimming pool also offers an excellent backdrop for a pleasant refreshment during an event, or the perfect occasion for a brunch by the pool on the day after the wedding.
The tree-lined avenue and the herbs
The tree-lined avenue is an invitation to enjoy the beauty of nature, under the shade of majestic trees - such as the hornbeams, with their lush branches. It is however the lavender that mesmerises your senses and captivates your heart. Along the tree-lined avenue, the lavender blooms in all its beauty, filling the park with an exquisite scent. From June to July, its purple flowers paint the landscape and transform the wedding into a unique and unforgettable sensory experience, evoking the style of the Provence countryside.
And as the sun disappears over the horizon, the tree-lined avenue acquires an enchanting atmosphere, thanks to the sunset that illuminates the surrounding landscape. Here, amidst the beauty of nature and the scent of flowers, couples can celebrate their love.
